Kwabena, or simply Kwa conceived off Kaads as a means to contribute to a never ending obsession with the multi-disciplinary design world. Partially trained, forever self-thought, Kwa’s fascination with all endeavors of design birthed a purpose for adding to the continuum of design through his distinct perspective.

Fractures of memories from being dually raised in Ghana and USA as well as traveling through other parts of the world has had a profound impression on how he sees the world. Often seeing the world through a recollection of palpable “textures” he grew up experiencing, design serves as the outlet to make sense of these textures, while also serving as an incubator to create anew on top of these existing intuitions.
